OpsIgnite Conference 2026: From Strategy to Execution in Payer Operations

April 19-22, 2026

The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver, Canada

MDI NetworX sponsored and attended the OpsIgnite Conference 2026, held April 19–22 at The Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, Canada.

The event brought together healthcare operations leaders and decision-makers, with a focus on strengthening execution across claims, quality assurance, enrollment, provider maintenance, and contact center operations, and delivering measurable outcomes within existing workflows.

MDI NetworX leadership team, Brij Sharma, Tilak Sharma, Partha Bose, and Pam Guilfoyle engaged directly with payer operations leaders to discuss improving operational discipline, performance visibility, and execution consistency.

Key Conversations

At MDI table #2, Tilak Sharma and Partha Bose engaged with Jeff Ahlers from Blue KC.

The discussion focused on strengthening execution without disrupting existing workflows. Leaders emphasized the need for clearer performance visibility and tighter control over outcomes, especially in high-volume environments.

In another interaction, Partha Bose connected with Shane Rawson from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.

The conversation reflected a broader shift across the industry, with organizations moving beyond planning and focusing on how strategies perform in live operations. Leaders are increasingly prioritizing early issue detection and stronger accountability across teams.

Beyond Structured Discussions

The MDI table remained a steady hub for conversations throughout the event. Leaders exchanged perspectives and shared what is working across their organizations.

Discussions focused on practical challenges, operating constraints, and approaches to delivering results in day-to-day operations.

These interactions also included lighter moments, informal conversations, helping build stronger professional connections, and making the engagement more natural.

Themes That Emerged

Across the event, leaders highlighted a few clear priorities:

  • Leaders are improving workforce productivity by optimizing capacity and balancing workloads to strengthen execution.
  • Organizations are strengthening workforce analytics to gain real-time visibility into performance trends and identify execution gaps.
  • Teams are advancing quality assurance and enrollment by improving accuracy, reducing rework, and ensuring consistent outcomes.

These priorities reflect a broader shift across healthcare payer operations toward outcome-driven improvements.

MDI NetworX at OpsIgnite

MDI NetworX had the opportunity to engage directly with industry leaders and understand how organizations are strengthening execution. Conversations highlighted the need for greater operational clarity and more consistent performance across workflows.

These insights continue to shape how MDI NetworX supports payer operations, with a focus on improving accuracy, strengthening control, and enabling more predictable outcomes.

Looking Ahead

MDI NetworX continues to apply these insights across claims, quality assurance, enrollment, provider maintenance, and contact center operations.

Thank you to everyone who spent time with us at the OpsIgnite conference. If advancing execution across these areas remains a priority, we welcome the opportunity to continue the conversation.
